We bought this Aga from eBay a few years ago for a project, it's the second one we have bought The first one was in pieces when We picked it up from Yorkshire, this white one was delivered on a pallet in one piece it nearly didn't make it because the delivery man underestimated how heavy it was and when he pushed it forward on to the van tail-lift it nearly shot over the hedge like a ski jumper, luckily we stopped it in time and managed to get it into my garage.
The purpose for buying these old Aga's was to learn more about how they were put together, and how to fit new parts like lid liners, chrome Domes, door liners and seals et cetera.
cleaning this Aga was quite a challenge because of all the rust on top, I think it's cleaned up quite well considering it must be over 40 years old easily,
I have to say I really enjoyed working on this old timer and I was really sorry to see it go.we put it back on eBay hoping just to get our money back and ended up making quite a tidy profit.
So if you have an old Aga that you think would benefit from our cleaning and mini re-Ferb service please give us a call.
