It's always a good idea to ask any company you're considering using, what their policy is if you are unhappy with the work they have undertaken for you, for example do they come back and rectify things you are not happy with and if you are still not happy do they have a refund policy.

Are you fully insured?
A simple question but an important one, Always ensure to ask if the service provider is fully insured and inquire about the type of insurance they hold. Additionally, it's beneficial to understand the extent of coverage provided and to request proof if necessary.

Are all your staff fully vetted and DBS checked?
You are letting a complete stranger into your home, so you should ask the company in question have you carried out these checks.

Are your oven cleaning technicians professionally trained?
Some oven cleaners are not professionally trained and don’t use specialist equipment or vitreous enamel safe products, so this may reflect in their standard of work, or worst-case scenario damage to your Aga, which could be costly.

If you have a problem with the service you have received, and feel you've been treated unfairly, can you go to their professional body, which can mediate between you and the company in question.

How thorough are you cleaning methods? There can be significant disparities in how different companies approach cleaning, making it essential to understand precisely what you're paying for.

Do you offer an up to date customer feedback policy?
If the answer is yes, you should be able to access, or be sent this information to see how their latest customers rate their service, and be able to leave feedback yourself when the job is done.
